Childrens Class Santa Maria Huatulco

It’s the first week of the 12 week discipleship class after the Christmas Child Shoe Box event in Santa Maria Huatulco.

29 children and 13 mamas attended! What a blessing to be able to tell completely unchurched children and families the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We fed them sandwiches consisting of 2 pieces of white bread and some skinny bolonga, no mayo or mustard, an apple and a box of milk. They LOVED it! I don’t know many american children that would receive such a lunch treat with as much joy.

More importantly these children were attentive and loved their class.

The mamas and grandmas were also very open as I shared that every woman needs peace and Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace! I was privileged to share with several women and taught them what it means to exchange their worries and receive Christ’s peace.

Phil enjoys the “work” part of this ministry, helping with the childern, setting up and tearing down and showing the love of Jesus to everyone there.

Enjoy the video clips from today’s events and please pray for the people of Santa Maria Huatulco and our new church there.

Teaching children discipleship class

The children’s teachers are Karen from Canada, Eli, Mirna and Narahi from Huatulco and Mirna’s daughters, you can see Andreas helping here.

These women are passionate about teaching others how to love and live in Christ. See my post on Pluma Hidalgo to learn about their ministry “Manos de Esperanza”.
